Family Kingdom in Myrtle Beach factors in fun for the entire family
Palmetto Shores was created with families in mind.
From its zero-entry kiddie pools to its family suites complete with bunk beds, everything about Palmetto Shores implies togetherness.
Similarly, then, it should come as no surprise that vacationers to this Myrtle Beach resort also prefer other places in Myrtle Beach conceived with thoughtfulness concerning families.
Family Kingdom is such a place.
As the only amusement park on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, Family Kingdom reigns in good times for the entire clan.
The park successfully blends nostalgia with now flavor to produce a hip attraction for ages one to 100.
There are more than 30 rides at this quaint amusement park.
The following are a few of the beloved rides at Family Kingdom:
Galleon: A high-flying pirate ship that swings back and forth in the air while you scream in joy and slight terror.
Hurricane: Think of a centipede on steroids. This ride races you around and around a stationary track with the wind behind your back. Simply put, it deserves its name.
Log Flume: This a rollercoaster that slides and splashes through water for one cool, exhilarating ride. Bring an extra T-shirt because you will get wet.
Swamp Fox Roller Coaster: This ride is truly old-school because it is a rollercoaster made of wood, with enough thrills to make you sweat but not scream of fright. It is a gentle rush of fun.
The amusement park at Family Kingdom also contains bumper cars and go-kart tracks.
Of course, there are lots of concessions and plenty of games to keep you and your family entertained for hours without a bit of boredom.
The neat treat about Family Kingdom is that it also has an accompanying water park. That’s right. Just across the street, you and your family can embark on an entirely new adventure by trying out the attractions in Myrtle Beach’s only seaside water park.
It is there that you will find a lazy river, speed slides, water flumes, intermediate speed slides and more.
Some of the water flumes have a more than 100-foot drop.
All in all, Family Kingdom will definitely be one of the attractions that will rule your itinerary for fun.
